Agility buys Leader Group in Egypt |

| 23-May-2007 : INTEGRATED supply chain firm Agility has completed the acquisition of Leader Group, a freight forwarding and shipping agency based in Alexandria, Egypt. Agility aims to integrate the Egyptian company with 52 employees into its global network. Leader Group is particularly strong in the business of blue chip customers from the government, oil and gas and retail sectors.
The co-directors of the Leader Group Jihad Dagher and Nevine Leheta commented on the acquisition: “We are pleased to be part of a leading logistics supplier like Agility.�
“With the acquisition of Leader Group and their extensive knowledge of the local market we look forward to offering a more comprehensive portfolio of end-to-end services and solutions to our valued customers in Egypt and the rest of the region,� added Elias Monem, chief executive officer - Middle East and Africa for Agility.
